The Storekeeper is responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling the inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and promotional items in the warehouse. This role ensures accurate stock records, proper storage, timely dispatch, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards to meet the needs of production, online orders, and quick commerce requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

• Maintain real-time inventory records in ERP / Excel / WMS.
• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations.
• Monitor slow-moving, near-expiry, and damaged stock and report to management.

2. Goods Receiving & Inspection

• Verify quantity, quality, and specifications of incoming goods against purchase orders and GRNs.
• Ensure all incoming materials are accompanied by proper documentation (invoice, packing list, delivery challan).
• Coordinate with the QA team for quality checks before accepting goods.

3. Storage & Handling

• Organize storage areas systematically to prevent damage and maintain hygiene (especially for food products).
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods.
• Maintain separate zones for raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and promotional stock.

4. Dispatch & Order Fulfilment

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for e-commerce, quick commerce, and offline dispatches.
• Coordinate with the logistics team for timely order pickups.
• Ensure accurate documentation for each dispatch (invoice, delivery challan, e-way bill if applicable).

5. Record Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain up-to-date records of GRNs, stock issue slips, dispatch notes, and inventory reports.
• Prepare daily stock reports for the Operations Head.
• Assist in monthly audit and statutory compliance requirements.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure FSSAI compliance in storage and handling of food products.
• Follow warehouse safety protocols for material handling equipment.
• Maintain pest control records and hygiene checklists.

7. Coordination

• Liaise with the Production, Procurement, QA, and Logistics teams for smooth flow of materials.
• Assist in planning material requirements based on production schedules.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software / ERP (Tally, Zoho Inventory, SAP, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of FMCG food product handling & storage requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in warehouse/storekeeping, preferably in FMCG / Food Industry.
• Knowledge of GRN, FIFO, FEFO, and stock reconciliation processes.

1. Inventory Accuracy (% match between physical and system stock).

2. Order Fulfilment Accuracy (% of orders dispatched without errors).

3. Stock Loss Percentage (due to damage, expiry, or pilferage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
