Job Title: Store Supervisor – Grocery (Food Catering)

Location: Gurgaon Sectore -63A

Department: Store / Inventory

Reports To: Store Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the grocery store within the food catering setup. This role includes supervising staff, managing stock and inventory, ensuring timely availability of raw materials, maintaining hygiene standards, and coordinating with the purchasing and kitchen teams to ensure smooth functioning of catering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor store operations, including receiving, storage, and issuing of grocery items.
  • Ensure accurate stock records, daily stock updates, and maintain inventory levels as per requirements.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciliation to minimize variances.
  • Monitor expiry dates and ensure FIFO (First In First Out) & FEFO (First Expiry First Out) practices.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of the store area as per food safety standards.
  • Coordinate with the Purchase team for timely procurement of grocery and raw materials.
  • Maintain proper documentation of GRN (Goods Received Note), issue slips, and stock registers.
  • Supervise store staff, assign duties, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
  • Control wastage, pilferage, and ensure cost-effective store management.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly store reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate / Diploma in Store Management, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in store or inventory management, preferably in food catering / hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and food storage practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Store Management Software (ERP preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of FSSAI guidelines and food safety standards will be an added advantage.
