Job Description

✅ Extended Job Responsibilities: Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and raise material requisitions accordingly. Ensure timely return of excess or damaged materials to vendors or central stores. Coordinate with accounts/finance team for invoice verification and payment follow-ups. Implement and follow proper FIFO (First In First Out) and LIFO stock principles as per material requirement. Keep the store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and housekeeping standards. Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and identification of all materials. Maintain all statutory registers (inward, outward, GRN, return slips, etc.) as per audit norms. Support project/site team during monthly MIS or audits with accurate stock data. Provide training or guidance to store helpers/ labour regarding handling & stacking of materials. Handle emergency material requirements efficiently and ensure minimal downtime at the site. Ensure material is stored away from water, dust, or direct sun to prevent quality degradation (especially cables, cement, panels).
