Role & responsibilities Store Manager Job Summary: Vinayaka Fundamental Research and Education Society is looking for a Store Manager who Keep the accurate tracking and records of all fixed and movable assets of the organizations available/newly purchased at skill development training centers situated at Ranchi, Bokaro and Hazaribagh. Ensures that all new stock is accounted for and record for consumables like uniforms, mess material, training lab consumables are managed and monitored at optimum stock levels, placing orders for new stock as required. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate tracking of inventory levels, ensuring that all stock is accounted for. Manage and monitor stock levels, placing orders for new stock as required. Tracking and managing stock movements (incoming and outgoing) to maintain accurate inventory records. This includes conducting regular stock audits and reconciling any discrepancies. Ensuring stock is well-organized and easily accessible. Managing the budget for inventory purchases, seeking cost-effective solutions for stock management. Generate regular reports on stock levels, order status, stock movement, and inventory performance. Delegate tasks and monitor staff performance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of stock management. Coordinate the receiving, checking, and storage of new deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality. Qualifications & Education: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business is a plus. Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in stock management, inventory control, or warehouse operations. Experience: Preferred to have experience in the skill development sector. Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team.
