Store Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day stores operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials and finished goods.
• Implement and maintain an efficient inventory control system to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize wastage or loss.
• Enforce strict safety protocols for the handling and storage of all materials, with particular attention to

  plastics and flammable chemicals

  . This includes proper segregation, labeling, and disposal procedures.
• Lead and supervise the stores team, providing training and guidance to ensure all tasks are performed efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate with the production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and a smooth supply chain.
• Maintain detailed records of all stock movements, conduct regular physical stock counts, and prepare reports for management.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee the logistics for incoming and outgoing materials.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience

  : 12-15 years of experience in stores management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Education

  : Any degree is acceptable. An additional qualification in

  Stores Management

  or

  Supply Chain Management (SCM)

  is preferred.

• Skills

  :
• Extensive knowledge of stores and inventory management principles.
• Proven experience in handling and storing hazardous materials, especially flammable chemicals.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and ERP systems.
