Job Description

Job Purpose

The Store Manager is responsible for driving store profitability, delivering superior customer experience, managing end-to-end store operations, and leading a high-performing team in a premium apparel retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Sales Management

  • Drive store sales, productivity, and profitability as per targets.
  • Monitor KPIs such as conversion, ATV, UPT, and footfall.
  • Execute monthly and seasonal sales plans and VM guidelines.
  • Ensure availability of right merchandise mix and stock health.

Customer Experience

  • Deliver premium customer service aligned with brand standards.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure quick resolution.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and repeat business.
  • Ensure grooming, service etiquette, and selling standards are followed.

Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the store team.
  • Plan rosters, manage attendance, leaves, and productivity.
  • Conduct regular training on product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Identify high performers and support talent development.

Store Operations

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.
  • Manage inventory, stock audits, shrinkage control, and replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, statutory requirements, and safety norms.
  • Coordinate with HO teams for merchandising, HR, and operations.

Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure VM execution as per brand guidelines.
  • Maintain store aesthetics, displays, and visual appeal.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5-6 years of experience in apparel retail.
  • Minimum 2-3 years as a

    Store Manager

    in premium / large-format apparel stores.
  • Experience handling a store business of

    1015 Cr+ annually

    (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer-centric mindset.
  • Hands-on experience in sales planning, team handling, and store operations.

Education

  • Graduate / MBA (preferred).
