Store Keeper Warehouse Assistant

Role & responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming

  raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and tools

  .
• Maintain

  accurate inventory records

  and ensure stock levels are optimized.
• Ensure

  timely issuance

  of materials to production, maintenance, and project teams.
• Coordinate with procurement for

  stock replenishment

  .
• Conduct

  periodic stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations

  .
• Ensure proper

  storage conditions, labeling, and identification

  of materials.
• Maintain compliance with

  safety and quality standards

  .
• Strong

  attention to detail

  and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Good

  organizational and time management skills

  .

• Team player

  with the ability to coordinate across departments.
• Integrity and accountability in handling materials.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage

  urgent requirements

• Understanding of

  imported spares and customs documentation

  .
• Exposure to

  ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 procedures

  for stores and inventory.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum:

  Diploma / ITI / Graduate

  in any discipline.
• Preferred: Background in

  Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Supply Chain Management

  .
• Certification in

  inventory management, ERP, or warehouse management systems

  is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of

  inventory management practices

  (FIFO, ABC analysis, etc.).
• Familiarity with

  ERP software / inventory management systems

  (Tally, or similar).
• Ability to handle

  GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), MRN (Material Requisition Notes), issue slips, stock registers, and bin cards

  .
• Understanding of

  safety protocols for handling electrical/mechanical items

  .
• Basic knowledge of

  material specifications, part numbers, and engineering drawings

  to correctly identify items.
• Proficiency in

  MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  for reporting and documentation.
