Job Description

Inventory management:
Receiving, unloading, and shelving incoming supplies.
Inspecting deliveries for damage or discrepancies and reporting issues.
Keeping detailed, accurate records of stock levels and managing inventory control.
Performing regular stock counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
Rotating stock, such as using the "first in, first out" (FIFO) method, and disposing of surplus or expired goods.
Storage and organization:
Storing and organizing items in a neat, clean, and accessible manner.
Ensuring the storage area is organized, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Managing the store layout to optimize space and accessibility.
Distribution and dispatch:
Issuing materials and supplies to authorized personnel or departments.
Picking, packing, and labeling items for orders.
Tracking dispatched orders and ensuring timely delivery.
Record keeping and reporting:
Maintaining accurate documentation for all stock-related activities.
Generating reports on inventory levels and other relevant data for management.
Processing bills and managing purchase requisitions when stock is low.
