Job Title : Lab Attender ( Microbiologist) Department : Quality Control (QC) - Microbiology Lab Company : GreenSignal Bio Pharma Pvt Ltd Job Summary: GreenSignal Bio Pharma Pvt Ltd is seeking a Lab Attender to support our QC Microbiology Lab. The role involves assisting in daily laboratory operations, maintaining cleanliness, preparing media and reagents, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting microbiologists in microbiological testing for vaccine production. Roles & Responsibilities: · Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment, glassware, and workspaces. · Monitor and manage the inventory of consumables, reagents, and chemicals, and report low stock levels. · Prepare microbiological media, reagents, and solutions following standard procedures and maintain proper labeling. · Assist in the receipt, labeling, and documentation of microbiological samples. · Support the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment like incubators, autoclaves, and refrigerators. · Dispose of biohazardous, chemical, and other waste materials according to safety and environmental guidelines. · Maintain accurate records of media preparation, sample handling, sterilization, and other lab activities. · Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards. · Assist microbiologists in routine microbiological tests, including sterility testing and microbial count tests. · Participate in training sessions and help train new lab attendants or junior staff. · Handle sensitive vaccine samples and ensure proper storage and transportation according to protocol. Qualifications & Skills: · Educational Qualifications: 10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, or DMLT. · Experience : 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in microbiology or vaccine production. · Salary: Rs. 15,000 - 20,000 per month · Location: Gummidipoondi (SIPCOT), Chennai Required Skills: · Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. · Basic understanding of microbiological testing procedures. · Ability to maintain a sterile work environment and follow safety protocols. · Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and regulatory compliance. · Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
