Store Keeper

The role ensures proper stock control, accurate record-keeping, and smooth flow of materials to support day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
• Verify quality and quantity of items against purchase orders and invoices.
• Store materials in an organized manner, ensuring proper labeling and identification.
• Maintain accurate stock levels through systematic tracking and documentation.
• Issue materials to departments based on authorized requisitions.
• Monitor inventory levels, highlight shortages, and initiate replenishment requests.
• Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and maintain up-to-date records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and storage guidelines.
• Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and production teams for smooth material flow.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the store area.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; ITI/Diploma in Store Management, Supply Chain, or related field is an advantage.
• Experience: 1–3 years in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse management.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of inventory management practices and ERP/Store software.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and reports.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in material handling.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail with accuracy in record-keeping.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Floor Shop Supervisor: 2 years (Required)
