Job Description

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing the café’s inventory, ensuring the timely availability of raw materials, beverages, and supplies.

The role ensures proper storage, stock rotation, and documentation while maintaining hygiene, safety, and cost control standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Inventory & Stock Management Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock. Conduct daily stock checks and maintain inventory reports.

Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) to minimize wastage and control costs. Monitor expiry dates and quality standards of stored items.

Receiving & Issuing Receive deliveries from suppliers and verify items against purchase orders and invoices.

Ensure proper storage (dry, chilled, frozen) and secure handling of goods. Issue stock to kitchen, barista, and service staff based on requisitions.

Record all stock movements promptly and accurately. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with kitchen and café floor teams to ensure smooth operations.

Report discrepancies, shortages, or damages to the Manager. Assist in preparing purchase requisitions and liaise with vendors as needed.

Compliance & Safety Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas. Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health standards.

Follow standard operating procedures for stock handling and documentation. Reporting & Control Prepare daily/weekly stock usage and variance reports.

Support monthly or quarterly stock audits. Suggest improvements in stock control and wastage reduction.

Skills & Qualifications :

Proven experience as a Store Keeper / Stock Controller, preferably in F&B or retail.

Knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Excel.

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail, integrity, and reliability.

Ability to handle pressure during peak café operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
