Overview

The Store Keeper plays a crucial role within the construction industry, ensuring the efficient management of materials and supplies which are essential for ongoing projects. They are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing and overseeing the storage of materials, and coordinating with various teams to fulfill supply needs.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materialsOrganize and label items in the storage areaMonitor inventory levels and replenish stock as neededCoordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materialsInspect deliveries for damage and discrepanciesPrepare and maintain reports on inventory levels and stock movementsSupervise and train junior storekeeping staffAdhere to safety and quality standards in all storage and handling activitiesCollaborate with the procurement team to forecast upcoming material needsResolve any inventory-related discrepancies or issuesKeep the storage area clean, organized, and hazard-freeAssist in conducting regular stock auditsImplement efficient inventory management practicesCommunicate with project managers and site teams to understand material requirementsManage and update electronic inventory systems

Required Qualifications
