The Store Incharge is responsible for the overall management of the store, including inventory control, material handling, record-keeping, and ensuring timely availability of materials for smooth operations. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring proper documentation of all inward and outward materials.
Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee daily store operations and inventory movement.
Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials as per purchase orders and invoices.
Maintain accurate stock records (inward, outward, and balance) in registers/software.
Issue materials to departments/sites against approved requisitions.
Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage, theft, or loss.
Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
Coordinate with the purchase team for timely replenishment of materials.
Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly stock reports with management.
Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and other inventory control methods.
Supervise and train store staff/labor to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
