Store Helper

Position Name: Store Helper No. of Positions: Multiple Hiring Locations: Agra, Lucknow, Kolkata, Cuttack, Guwahati **Immediate Joiners preferred within 20-30 years of age limit. Only male candidates preferred   Key responsibilities Customer service: Greeting customers warmly as they enter the store. Answering customer questions about products and services. Assisting customers with finding products. Handling customer issues and complaints professionally. Store maintenance and organization: Keeping the sales floor and storage areas clean, which includes tasks like dusting, sweeping, and mopping. Arranging products on shelves and in displays to be neat and visually appealing. Ensuring price tags are accurate and up to date. Inventory and stock management: Unloading and organizing new stock in storage areas. Restocking shelves and rotating products. Assisting with periodic inventory counts and reporting discrepancies. Monitoring stock levels and sales trends. Sales and transactions: Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Assisting sales staff during busy periods. Visual merchandising: Helping to create and maintain attractive visual displays. Setting up promotional materials.  Necessary skills and qualifications Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work well as an individual contributor or within a team. Basic computer skills are often required for POS systems. Physical requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and carry. Experience: While not always mandatory, prior experience in a retail store or Book store’s role is a plus. Education: 10th or 12th or equivalent is typically required.
