Store Executive Job Description (Indicative)

Company: Aeron Composite Ltd. (Ahmedabad location)

Role: Store Executive

Experience: Approximately 1 year in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Department: Stores & Material Management

Key Responsibilities

Material Management:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials (raw materials, consumables, finished goods, etc.) against purchase orders and delivery challans.

Ensure proper storage, preservation, labeling, binning, and stacking of all materials according to safety and quality norms (e.g., ISO standards).

Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department for material inspection and clearance before storage or use.

Issue materials to the production or other relevant departments against approved requisitions (Material Requisition Notes/MRN).

Manage the physical loading and unloading of goods, potentially using equipment like pump trucks.

Inventory Control and Documentation:

Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's ERP system (e.g., SAP, Tally) or other inventory management software.

Conduct regular physical stock verification, cycle counts, and assist with monthly or annual inventory audits; reconcile any discrepancies.

Monitor stock levels, particularly minimum and maximum limits, and alert the purchase team for timely replenishment to avoid stock-outs.

Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), issue slips, and stock registers.

Coordination and Compliance:

Coordinate closely with the Production, Purchase, Logistics, and Accounts teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely material availability.

Ensure strict compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and 5S standards within the stores area.

Prepare daily or monthly MIS (Management Information System) reports on material consumption, stock status, and inventory levels.

Assist in identifying and reporting non-moving, obsolete, or damaged items and coordinate for their disposal or insurance claims.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 1+ years of experience in a stores, inventory management, or warehouse operations role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of inventory control principles and stores functions.

Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and MS Excel for record-keeping and reporting.

Basic computer skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation.

Soft Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Good communication and coordination abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

A customer-focused mindset (internal customers like production) and problem-solving skills.
