Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Material Handling & Stock Management

Receive, verify, and store incoming materials as per purchase orders.
Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions.
Maintain proper stock levels to avoid shortages or excess.
Ensure storage of items in safe, secure, and organized manner.

Inventory Control

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification.
Record stock transactions accurately in ERP/Tally or manual registers.
Prepare and submit stock reports to management.
Assist in annual/periodic stock audits.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN (Material Receipt Note), and issue slips.
Ensure proper labeling, binning, and codification of materials.
Adhere to company policies on material handling and safety norms.

Coordination

Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Accounts departments for smooth material flow.
Track pending materials with suppliers and follow up for timely delivery.
Support dispatch of finished goods when required.

Housekeeping & Safety

Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in store area.

Preferred candidate profile

3-5 Yrs exp in Store handing with DIP/BE with Immediate joiner
