Role Summary:

The Store & Inventory Executive is responsible for supporting the efficient and effective operation of store and inventory functions. This includes receiving, storing, tracking, issuing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure timely material flow. The Senior Store & Inventory Executive carries greater responsibility for process improvement, leadership, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Stock Management:

Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory systems promptly.

Perform regular stock checks, physical verification, and reconciliation of discrepancies.

Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are available when needed.

Ensure proper storage, labelling, and organization of materials following FIFO or other prescribed principles.

Material Handling & Documentation

Receive, inspect, verify and document all incoming and outgoing materials.

Maintain all required store documents such as delivery notes, issue/receipt records, and stock registers.

Generate reports on inventory status and movements for internal reporting.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure adherence to safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials if applicable.

Maintain a clean, neat, and compliant store/warehouse environment.

Follow company policies and regulatory standards related to storage and safety.

Coordination & Communication:

Work closely with procurement, production, and planning teams to fulfil material requirements.

Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, discrepancies, and stock status.

Assist in preparing inventory requisitions and managing supply follow-ups.

Team Collaboration:

Support and train junior store team members in inventory procedures and safety practices.

For senior level: lead process improvements, mentor team members, and help resolve complex stock issues.
