Job Title: Store Executive
Reports To: Operations Manager Job Purpose The Store Executive is responsible for managing daily store operations including the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of materials. The role ensures that all inventory transactions are accurately recorded, materials are available as required, and stock control processes are followed to support smooth production and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Material Handling and Storage Receive and inspect incoming materials to verify quantity, quality, and documentation against purchase orders. Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials to prevent damage or loss. Maintain an organized and clean storage area in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards. 2. Inventory Management Record all incoming and outgoing materials accurately in the inventory management system (ERP/Tally). Issue materials to departments as per approved Material Requisition Notes (MRNs) or job orders. Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure timely replenishment. Support monthly and annual physical stock verification and reconciliation with system records. 3. Documentation and Recordkeeping Maintain updated records of receipts, issues, and stock balances. Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly stock reports as required. Coordinate with the procurement and accounts departments for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and material return documentation. 4. Coordination and Support Coordinate with procurement for material dispatch, replacement, or replenishment requirements. Liaise with the production and quality departments to ensure timely supply of approved materials. Report any stock discrepancies, material damages, or slow-moving/obsolete items to the Store In charge or Operations Manager. 5. Safety and Compliance Ensure adherence to company policies, 5S standards, and safety procedures in all store activities. Maintain proper labelling and segregation of hazardous or sensitive materials as per company guidelines. Skills and Qualifications Education: Graduate in any discipline (Commerce, Supply Chain, or Engineering preferred).
Experience: 1–4 years of experience in store, warehouse, or inventory management in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP or Tally software for inventory control. Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Behavioural Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Team-oriented with effective communication skills. Integrity and accountability in handling company assets
