Store Associate

Role Overview: As a Receiver at The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort and Spa, your main responsibility is to receive and stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in the facility, and deliver merchandise to the appropriate department. You will also be responsible for stacking received merchandise on pallets or carts, completing requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notifying the manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be required to inspect deliveries, store perishables properly, rotate stock, and adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas. Key Responsibilities: - Receive and stage merchandise by department - Mark merchandise appropriately for placement in the facility - Deliver merchandise to the appropriate department - Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts - Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies - Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner - Inspect deliveries to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality - Store perishables properly and rotate stock - Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures - Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains - Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place in proper storage areas Qualifications Required: - Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent - Related Work Experience: No related work experience required - Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required - License or Certification: None required Additional Information: At Westin, the brand is committed to empowering guests to enhance their well-being while traveling, ensuring they can be the best version of themselves.
