Store Associate - Hotels

The Store Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of food, beverages, and non-food items in accordance with hotel standards. The role ensures accurate stock control, proper documentation, and timely availability of materials for smooth hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive goods as per Purchase Orders and verify quantity, quality, and specifications.
• Inspect incoming items for damages, expiry dates, and compliance with standards.
• Maintain proper storage of food, beverages, consumables, and equipment.
• Issue materials to departments against authorized requisitions.
• Update stock records, bin cards, and inventory registers accurately.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO methods for inventory management.
• Coordinate with Accounts and Purchase departments for discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in store areas.
• Assist in stock audits and surprise checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and statutory norms.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of inventory and store operations.
• Attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to use MS Excel or inventory management systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Honest, reliable, and physically fit for store duties.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate / HSC / SSC (minimum qualification as per hotel policy).
• 1–2 years of experience in hotel or commercial stores preferred.
• Knowledge of hospitality materials and consumables is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
