Job Description – Store Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day store operations, including receiving, issuing, and recording materials.
• Enter all stock transactions (GRN, issue, returns, adjustments) in Tally ERP or any store management software.
• Check incoming materials against purchase orders for quantity and quality.
• Maintain proper documentation such as GRN, delivery challans, invoices, and stock registers.
• Manage material dispatch, including preparing packing lists, DCs, loading supervision, and coordination with transporters.
• Track material movement between departments and ensure timely issue of components to production.
• Monitor and maintain minimum stock levels; report shortages to the Purchase and Production teams.
• Conduct periodic stock audits / physical inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
• Keep the store area organized, safe, and compliant with company policies.
• Coordinate with purchase, production, accounts, and logistics teams for smooth store operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in store operations in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and documentation.
• Understanding of inventory management, FIFO, material handling, and dispatch process.
• Ability to handle physical stock and maintain accuracy in records.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Any Graduate preferred.
