Job Overview:

The Purchase Store Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's supply chain and inventory management. This position is responsible for assisting with the purchasing of supplies, materials, and goods, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that products are stored in a safe and organized manner. The role requires effective coordination with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to meet the needs of the hotel while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Key Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (further education in hotel management or related fields is a plus).
• Proven experience in inventory management or purchasing, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Good knowledge of procurement and inventory control systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Basic knowledge of financial management (e.g., budgeting, cost control) is desirable.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, inventory management software).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift and handle physical inventory items safely.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to [X] pounds/kilograms.
• Frequent standing, walking, and moving goods around the store or warehouse area.

Work Environment:

• This position is based in the hotel’s storage or warehouse areas and may require time spent in different hotel departments.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required depending on the hotel's needs.
