Key Responsibilities:
1. Material Management – Receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials, spare parts, and consumables.
2. Inventory Control – Maintaining stock records, ensuring optimum levels, and avoiding shortages or overstock.
3. Documentation – Preparing GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and maintaining stock registers.
4. Coordination – Working with purchase, accounts, and production teams for timely supply of materials.
5. Quality Check – Verifying quantity and condition of materials at the time of receipt.
6. Safety & Preservation – Ensuring proper storage, labeling, and safe handling of engineering materials.
7. Support for Maintenance/Projects – Supplying tools, spare parts, and consumables required for machines and project execution.Skills Required:Knowledge of engineering materials & spare parts Inventory management techniques (FIFO, LIFO, ABC analysis)ERP/SAP or manual stock systems Coordination and communication skills Safety awareness
