Store Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantity and condition against PO & invoice.
• Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and update inventory ERP/manual registers.
• Store materials in designated racks/shelves with proper tagging & FIFO system.
• Issue raw materials, tools, consumables to production as per approved requisition.
• Ensure daily stock update, bin card entry, and maintain minimum stock level.
• Support physical stock counting — daily, weekly, monthly cycle counts.
• Maintain record of rejected/damaged goods and coordinate with QC & vendors.
• Handle packing & dispatch of finished/semi-finished goods as per dispatch plan.
• Keep stores area clean, safe and audit ready as per 5S & safety standards.

Required Skills / Competencies

• Knowledge of store & inventory procedures (FIFO, LIFO, GRN, MRN etc.)
• Basic computer skills — Excel, Email, ERP (SAP/Tally/Oracle/Custom ERP)
• Good documentation and record-keeping habits
• Coordination with purchase, QC, production & dispatch teams
• Physical ability to handle material movement (within safety limits)

Qualification & Experience

• Education: 12th / Diploma / Graduate (Any stream, logistics/stores preferred)
• Experience: 1–3 years in stores function in manufacturing industry
• Bonus: Experience with ERP systems / knowledge of ISO/5S would be added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹33,061.40 per month
