Job Description

Position:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot
Hitachi VSP, HUS, HNAS, and G-series storage arrays
.
Strong experience with
Hitachi Command Suite (HCS)
,
Storage Navigator
,
Device Manager
, and
Replication tools
.
Perform
LUN provisioning, zoning, masking
, and end-to-end SAN configuration.
Hands-on in
Brocade/Cisco SAN switches
, zoning (WWN-based), and fabric management.
Plan and execute
storage migrations, upgrades, firmware updates
, and patching.
Monitor storage performance and optimize capacity utilization.
Manage
replication technologies
such as ShadowImage, TrueCopy, and Global Replication.
Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and storage availability monitoring.
Collaborate with server, virtualization, and application teams to support project requirements.
Ensure adherence to
ITIL processes
and proper documentation.

Key Skills Required:

10+ years in Storage & SAN administration.
Expertise in
Hitachi Storage Systems
(VSP, G/F series).
Strong understanding of
SAN architecture
, multipathing, and fabric design.
Familiarity with
VMware storage concepts
(VMFS, NFS, datastore mapping).
Knowledge of performance tools & analytics (Tuning Manager, Ops Center).
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder coordination.
