Stock Planner

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales projections.
• Plan and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, marketing, and logistics teams to align supply with demand.
• Monitor stock performance (sell-through, turnover rates, aging stock) and provide regular reporting.
• Create stock replenishment plans based on sales forecasts, seasonality, and promotional activity.
• Identify stock risks and opportunities, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate records in inventory management systems
• Participate in regular S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings.
• Support new product launches and end-of-life stock planning.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Excel (advanced level).
• Prior French west Africa region experience will be additional advantage

• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in supply chain or inventory management
• Experience in Pharmaceutical retail.
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
