STEWARD

Job Summary:

As a Steward, you’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, bar, and back-of-house areas. Your role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of operations during service and maintaining the health and safety standards of the venue.

Key Responsibilities: Cleaning & Maintenance

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Keep kitchen and bar prep areas clean, dry, and organized
• Ensure proper segregation and disposal of kitchen waste
• Clean floors, walls, and storage areas regularly as per cleaning schedules

Support & Stocking

• Assist in setting up clean plates, cutlery, and glassware for bar and kitchen use
• Replenish handwash, sanitizers, and cleaning materials as needed
• Help in unloading, moving, and organizing deliveries in storage areas

Equipment Handling

• Use dishwashing machines and manual cleaning tools safely and efficiently
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs immediately

Hygiene & Safety

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols (e.g., HACCP)
• Wear proper uniform, gloves, and safety gear during all tasks
• Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a steward or kitchen helper preferred (not mandatory)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Flexible availability for evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
