Steward (Food & Beverage Service)

Position Summary

The Steward is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and professional service to guests. This role includes greeting customers, taking orders, serving food & beverages, ensuring table management, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Take accurate food & beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure correct presentation and temperature of food before serving.
• Manage table setups, clear tables, and reset them for the next guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
• Upsell and recommend menu items, specials, and promotions to increase sales.
• Ensure customer needs are met and handle requests efficiently.
• Process customer bills, handle cash/card payments, and provide receipts.
• Address guest complaints politely and escalate to supervisors when needed.
• Follow grooming standards, uniform policy, and service protocols.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum 10th/12th pass (Hospitality diploma preferred).
• 1-4 years of experience in restaurants/hotels (freshers may be considered).
• Knowledge of POS systems & billing will be an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
