Steel Structural Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Steel Structural Design Engineer with experience in the design and detailing of structural steel components. The candidate should be proficient in Tekla Structures and possess sound knowledge of steel construction standards and fabrication practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and detail structural steel components using Tekla Structures.
• Prepare structural designs and detailed fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Perform analysis and calculations for steel structures as per relevant codes.
• Use software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, site engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Revise designs based on site feedback or client requirements.
• Support team with BOQ preparation and technical documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in steel structural design and detailing.
• Knowledge of IS codes and structural design principles.
• Proficiency in steel structural design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, Tekla etc.).
• Good understanding of AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post-graduate qualification (M.Tech in Structural Engineering) is a plus.

Site experience or internship in structural design is an advantage.
