Statutory Audit - Semi Qualified - Mumbai

As a detail-oriented Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter/CA IPCC cleared), you will be joining our Statutory Audit team to execute audit engagements in compliance with applicable auditing standards, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct statutory audits of companies across various industries. - Perform detailed testing of financial statements, ledgers, internal controls, and supporting documents. - Assist in planning audit procedures based on risk assessment and client environment. - Document audit evidence in line with firm methodology and professional standards. - Review financial statements as per Ind AS/AS, Companies Act, and relevant regulatory frameworks. - Identify compliance gaps, misstatements, or control weaknesses and escalate issues. - Assist in preparation of audit reports and management letters. - Coordinate with client finance teams to obtain required documentation and clarifications. - Communicate audit findings and assist in resolving queries. - Ensure timely completion of audit deliverables. - Work closely with seniors, managers, and partners to support audit planning and execution. - Guide and review work of articles or junior team members if assigned. Qualifications Required: - CA Inter/IPCC cleared with 13 years of relevant audit experience. - Articleship experience in statutory audit will be preferred.,
