Job Description

As an STA CAD methodology lead at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for leading the deployment of new features and methodologies related to Static Timing Analysis (STA) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) domain. Your role will involve covering various aspects such as STA flow/methodology development, continuous efficiency improvement, and providing flow development/support for ECO convergence using tools like PrimeTime, Tempus, Tweaker, and PrimeClosure. You will face challenges in ensuring timing convergence at both block and top levels on cutting-edge technology for high-performance designs to guarantee successful design tapeouts on time with high quality. Key Responsibilities: - Thorough knowledge of the ASIC design cycle and timing closure flow and methodology. - 10+ years of expertise in timing constraints and timing closure, with proficiency in STA tools such as Primetime, Tempus, and Tweaker. - Strong understanding of advanced STA concepts and challenges in advanced nodes. - Proficiency in scripting languages like TCL, Perl, and Python. - Strong background in Place and Route (PNR) and Extraction domain. - Experience with constraints development tools like spyglass is an added advantage. - Demonstrated leadership qualities to lead and manage the STA CAD team effectively. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of Hardware Engineering experience, or - Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
