State Manager Joint Replacement

Job Description: You will be responsible for developing and implementing the state sales plan for the joint replacement business. This involves leading the territory to achieve set targets and increasing market share percentage through direct sales. Effective collaboration with dealers, surgeons, and distributors is key to your success in this role. You will work towards regional profitability by closely monitoring the gross margin relative index. Partnering with internal teams and the marketing team will be crucial in achieving the set targets. You will also be responsible for implementing and executing launch strategies developed by the Sales and Marketing organization. Analyzing the territory, sales forecasting, and planning will be part of your regular activities. Generating and following up on sales leads will also be essential. Building strong business relationships with key industry players and achieving sales goals and growth across allocated territories will be a key focus. Providing solutions for customers, adding value to the sales process through negotiations, and identifying competitive issues/opportunities are also important aspects of the role. You will devise and implement sales strategy, dealer management strategy, development plan, and sales forecasts to ensure yearly objectives are met. Implementing inventory control measures to reduce obsolete stocks, keeping tabs on slow-moving items, and achieving a reduction in inventory management costs will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring schedule and compliance adherence to various laid out processes and taking action in cases of lapses by team members are also expected. Qualifications Required: - Graduate/Post-graduate/MBA in any discipline - At least 8 to 12 years of sales and marketing experience (preferred medical capital) with a minimum of 2-3 years of people manager experience - Experience in joint replacement,
