State Head – GT

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership

  : Manage and mentor a large sales team comprising ASMs, SOs, and TSIs across Karnataka. Drive performance through regular reviews, training, and on-ground support.

• Sales Growth

  : Own the P&L for the state-level GT channel.

• Distribution Management

  : Expand and optimize the distribution network with a strong focus on width and depth of distribution.

• Rural Market Expansion

  : Penetrate untapped rural markets and drive growth through innovative market activation and GT strategies.

• Top SAMT Placement

  : Ensure visibility and consistent placement of top Stock Keeping Units (SAMTs) across relevant outlets.

• Market Intelligence

  : Track competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends to inform tactical decisions.

• Reporting & Planning

  : Provide timely and accurate MIS reports to the regional/national sales leadership. Contribute to state-level strategic planning and budgeting.

Desired Profile:

• A result-oriented sales leader with

  10+ years of proven FMCG sales experience

  , including managing large teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to drive field execution.
• Deep knowledge of

  Karnataka's GT market

• Strong understanding of distribution systems, retail dynamics, and sales analytics.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the state.
