We’re building a quick team for our Stairless Journey Kolkata Chapter. This is a youth-led initiative making cities more accessible for wheelchair users. For this chapter, we’re focusing on Kolkata’s cafés, public places, and Pujo accessibility to spread awareness and create impact.

About Stairless Journey:

Stairless Journey is a youth-led social initiative working to make India more accessible for wheelchair users, one city at a time. We verify and post about wheelchair-friendly places, raise awareness about inclusion, and build community-driven solutions to everyday accessibility challenges.

What You'll Do (Choose Your Area of Contribution):

1. Accessibility Research – Find and list wheelchair-friendly cafés, clinics, and public spots in Kolkata.
2. Content Creation – Design posts, write captions, or suggest ideas for reels/carousels.
3. Social Media Support – Help manage Instagram engagement for Kolkata Chapter.
4. Outreach & Partnerships – Connect with cafés, pujo pandals, colleges, or influencers.
5. On-ground Accessibility Verification – Visit places in Kolkata (if possible) and confirm accessibility details.
6. Volunteer Coordination – Assist in organizing and onboarding local volunteers.Time Commitment :Remote & Flexible. Weekly progress updates expected.
