For this chapter, we’re focusing on Kolkata’s cafés, public places, and Pujo accessibility to spread awareness and create impact. Organization : Stairless Journey Location : Kolkata (Remote & On-ground, depending on role) Duration : Flexible (Minimum 1 month preferred) Certificate : Yes (on successful contribution) About Stairless Journey: Stairless Journey is a youth-led social initiative working to make India more accessible for wheelchair users, one city at a time. We verify and post about wheelchair-friendly places, raise awareness about inclusion, and build community-driven solutions to everyday accessibility challenges. What You'll Do (Choose Your Area of Contribution): 1. Accessibility Research – Find and list wheelchair-friendly cafés, clinics, and public spots in Kolkata. 2. Content Creation – Design posts, write captions, or suggest ideas for reels/carousels. 3. Social Media Support – Help manage Instagram engagement for Kolkata Chapter. 4. Outreach & Partnerships – Connect with cafés, pujo pandals, colleges, or influencers. 5. On-ground Accessibility Verification – Visit places in Kolkata (if possible) and confirm accessibility details. 6. Volunteer Coordination – Assist in organizing and onboarding local volunteers. Time Commitment :Remote & Flexible. Weekly progress updates expected.
