Job Purpose

Job Purpose Description

To assist in the maintece and upkeep of mining equipment and infrastructure within the cement plant s mining operations. The role is designed to provide hands-on training and exposure to preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintece activities, ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintece:
- Support routine inspection, servicing, and repair of mining equipment (e. g. , crushers, conveyors, loaders, dumpers).
- Assist in lubrication, alignment, and replacement of worn-out parts.
Preventive & Predictive Maintece:
- Participate in scheduled maintece activities to minimize downtime.
- Learn and apply condition monitoring techniques (vibration analysis, oil analysis).
Breakdown Support:
- Respond to equipment breakdowns under supervision and assist in troubleshooting.
- Document maintece activities and report to the supervisor.
Safety & Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements during maintece work.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and statutory regulations.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain logs of maintece activities, spares used, and equipment performance.
- Assist in preparing reports for preventive maintece schedules.
