Role Overview: Harman Automotive is seeking a motivated and passionate professional to define automotive software strategy. This role involves understanding the Harman products and services portfolio and presenting recommendations for long-term goals. Key Responsibilities: - Supporting the development of long-term product strategy for Automotive software - Synthesizing global and regional market trends, market sizing, technology trends, and customer & consumer insights - Identifying threats and opportunities, building projections, and recommending actions - Planning, implementing, and managing proposed recommendations and projects - Monitoring and reporting on projects - Influencing global product strategies and cross-divisional planning - Conducting market intelligence and assessing competitive positioning - Developing market and product requirements with a rolling 35-year iterative product roadmap - Identifying Go-To-Market strategies and effective sales product / services pitches - Collaborating effectively with remote team members Qualifications Required: - Around 12-18 years of experience in Automotive SW & Services, strategy, pre-sales, or product management - Bachelors degree in Engineering, MBA preferred - Experience working with Automotive OEMs - Knowledge of automotive technologies, industry trends, and business case development - Results and detail-oriented with effective C-Level communication skills - Basic Project Management skills and ability to work under tight timelines - Proactive, self-sufficient, and professional with strong organizational and time management skills - Flexibility to work in office or remotely, travel for business, and work in multiple time zones as needed Additional Company Details: HARMAN is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment that values and empowers every employee.
