1. Prepare the equipment/instrumentation specification sheets like pump, heat exchanger, control valves, relief device, on/off Solenoid valves, 3 way valves, flow transmitter, PT, TT, LT, Conductivity sensors, Hydrogen sensors, Air coolers etc.
2. Sizing and Selection of pumps, control valves, Pressure relief device, orifice, heat exchanger, Flow transmitter, etc.
3. Conducting technical discussion with supplier/ manufacturer to get right product like valves and transmitters as per the design requirements.
4. Preparing test setup and conducting the validation test for all selected mechanical components.
5. Troubleshooting of equipments/Instrumentation items.
6. Alternate component or part selection for the hydrogen systems with compliance requirements like UL, CE and PED
7. Review supplier Product Change Notices (PCNs) for impact.
8. Component testing and qualification for alternate parts.
9. Supporting the R&D team and coordinating with cross functional teams like manufacturing and sourcing.
10. Interacting with vendors and suppliers to get the components life cycle details, UL, CE, ATEX and PED certificates.
11. Basic Knowledge of HAZOP & LOPA
