Responsibilities: Senior Process Engineer is a member of the project management Team who is responsible to Work independently and manage a team of Engineers for overseeing the process aspect of projects and for coordinating the project process team at the FEED, EPC to Operation phase. Participates in the design of a process unit, including establishing process design basis, development of process options and optimization of selected design. Calculates and organizes data for process flow sheets (PFDs and P&IDs) including instrumentation and control system. Review projects, process design and detailed engineering documents (including P&ID, PFD) provided by Licensors or FEED or EPC contractors, provide comments and ensure resolution. Review the process unit operations, sizing calculations for pressure relieving devices, hydraulic calculation for fluid vapor circuits. Review specification and operating parameters process equipment including distillation column, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, fired heaters, pumps and compressors Provide appropriate guidance as necessary about local legislation, codes, and standard and technical requirements. Manage direct reports including managing work allocation, training, mentoring, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic. Participate in HAZOP, QRA, HAZID & HSEIA. Advise the Engineering Manager ahead of issues becoming critical and provide recommendations to improve these issues Functional Skills: Good exposure and sound knowledge in PP Plant in handling all the processes to support the business. Hot Combined Feed Exchanger system, Reactor Effluent Compressor Package EM ,Heat Pump Compressor Package ,Heat Pump Compressor Surface Condenser, Separation System (cold box),Hydrogen Purification System, Fuel Gas Preparation System, Hydrogen Booster Compressors Package, Regeneration Tower system, Cooler Blower Fines Removal Blower Lift Gas Blower, Chlorination System ,Depropanizer system, Deethanizer Stripper system, Deethanizer Rectifier, Propylene-Propane Splitter system, Solvent Recovery Column system, Propylene-Propane Splitter Reboilers/Condensers, P&ID ,PFD, HMB, Licence and coordination, PMC Coordination, FEED Contract coordination, EPC / EPCM Coordination, Initial Temporary Site Preparation activities, Coordination with Contractors & Sub-Contractors, in U&O in Fire water system, Potable water system, cooling water system, Air system, Nitrogen system, Steam generation system, chemical system, Air separation systematic. Exposure to Propane/Butane Dehydrogenation Process Technology, HSE system and best practices and participating or carrying out safety procedures like HAZOP etc. Confidence to deal with individuals at all levels in the organization, Proven conflict resolution skills. Petrochemicals process industry design experience preferred. Experience in large scale green field petrochemical & Refinery plants. Experience in Propane Dehydrogenation process details, selection, analysis, troubleshooting and commissioning. Proficient in Industry Simulation Tools (Aspen, HYSYS, PRO/II, HTRI, etc.) Preferred Experience in FEED/Detailed engineering required, Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, proficient in MS Office.
