staff Nurse

The Hair Transplant Nurse assists surgeons during hair restoration procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and smooth execution of surgical techniques. The role involves preparing patients, assisting in graft extraction and implantation, handling instruments, maintaining sterile environments, and providing pre- and post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operation theater, instruments, and materials for hair transplant procedures (FUE).

• Assist the surgeon during graft extraction, dissection, counting, and implantation.

• Ensure strict aseptic and sterilization protocols are followed at all times.

• Provide pre-operative patient preparation and counseling.

• Monitor patient vitals and comfort throughout the procedure.

• Educate patients about post-transplant care, medication, and recovery.

• Maintain detailed patient records and procedure logs.

• Handle emergency situations during or after the procedure efficiently.

• Support overall clinic activities when not in surgery (patient care, stock management, sterilization).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with valid Nursing Registration.

• Prior experience in dermatology / cosmetic surgery / OT nursing preferred.

• Knowledge of hair transplant techniques (FUE) is an advantage.

• Excellent hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and patient-handling skills.

• Ability to work long surgical hours with focus and precision.

Work Conditions:

• Surgical environment (long procedures, 4–8 hours).

• Shift flexibility as per scheduled surgeries.

• Direct interaction with patients pre- and post-operation.
