Staff Nurse

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30000.00 per month

Job description:

Qualification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vitals, and documenting patient progress
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans to meet specific patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care .
• Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing medical procedures or surgeries.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and post-hospital care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and assist in managing emergency situations.
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in hospital staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Staff Nurse, preferably in a hospital
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and respond to patient needs effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Sound knowledge of hospital protocols, hygiene practices, and patient care guidelines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends.
• Registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC) or equivalent.
