Job Description

Clinical Patient Care: Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care as per hospital protocols
Assist doctors during procedures and ensure proper pre- and post-procedure careMonitor patient vitals, medication administration, and documentationMaintain patient records accurately and confidentiallyInfection Control Responsibilities: Implement and monitor infection control policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with hand hygiene, PPE usage, and isolation protocolsMonitor and report Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI)Oversee Biomedical Waste Management as per statutory guidelinesConduct regular infection control rounds and surveillanceTrain and sensitize staff on infection prevention practices
NABH Quality Responsibilities: Maintain NABH-related documentation, records, and registersParticipate in internal audits, external audits, and inspectionsCoordinate with departments for NABH compliance and corrective actionsSupport continuous quality improvement initiativesEnsure adherence to patient safety goals and quality indicatorsAdministrative Coordination Duties: Assist in policy implementation and SOP compliancePrepare reports related to infection control and quality indicatorsCoordinate with nursing, housekeeping, and biomedical teamsAttend departmental meetings, trainings, and review sessions A Staff Nurse provides quality patient care, assists doctors during procedures, administers medications, and maintains accurate records
