Staff Nurse Emergency Room (ER)

Triage incoming patients based on the severity of condition, following established
protocols.
Perform rapid assessments and initiate emergency treatment plans as needed. Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions (e.g., CPR, defibrillation). Assist with diagnostic procedures and interpret test results in coordination with thehealthcare team. Monitor and document patient status, responses to interventions, and any changes incondition. Prepare patients for transport to surgery, intensive care, or other hospital departments. Provide emotional support and information to patients and families in high-stresssituations. Ensure timely and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR). Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, social workers, and other nursing staff. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment in accordance with hospital policiesand infection control standards. Respond to hospital codes and emergency situations according to policy.
