Staff Engineer - Frontend

As a Staff Frontend Engineer (React) at ThoughtSpot, you will play a crucial role in building fast, intuitive, and scalable React experiences that directly impact user acquisition, activation, and engagement. You will collaborate with top engineers, designers, and product leaders to redefine how users interact with real-time data, contributing to our mission of making analytics effortless through AI. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the design and development of high-quality UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React. - Develop scalable web applications that drive customer acquisition and engagement funnels. - Transform UX designs and wireframes into responsive and performant interfaces. - Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and data teams to implement features that result in measurable impact. - Take ownership of the frontend architecture, guiding technical decisions, promoting best practices, and ensuring code quality across the Growth team. - Analyze metrics, experiments, and user flows to create data-informed features. - Engage in design reviews, debugging, testing, and enhancing frontend performance across various browsers and devices. - Provide mentorship to other frontend engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and experimentation. **Qualifications Required:** - 10+ years of frontend development experience with a track record of building and scaling web applications. - Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Single Page Application (SPA) architectures. - Solid grasp of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and frontend performance optimization. - Experience in working on product-led growth, customer acquisition, and user engagement flows is advantageous. - Familiarity with visualization libraries like Highcharts or D3 and knowledge of backend integration patterns. - Understanding of frontend infrastructure including CDN, HTTP, caching, Nginx, and Node.js. - Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and debugging abilities. - Previous experience leading frontend projects or mentoring junior engineers. - Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative environment that encourages experimentation and continuous learning.,
