Staff Engineer - Frontend

Role Overview: You should possess a solid background in modern frontend development with at least 8 years of experience, including 3+ years specifically in React or React Native. A strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals is crucial, along with the ability to understand rendering processes in both web and mobile applications. Proficiency in front-end build systems and tools such as Webpack, Vite, Yarn, and Lerna is essential. Your experience should also include building complex and high-performing web applications, as well as expertise in measuring and optimizing performance across different platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, architect, and develop various aspects of web, mobile, and chrome extension projects. - Actively participate in technical planning, recruitment, and fostering team skills. - Translate business requirements into system specifications, design documents, and application requirements. - Conceptualize and guide the direction of development projects, ensuring adherence to best practices within the teams. - Analyze critical incidents, identify root causes, and work on sustainable resolutions based on business priorities. - Iterate and enhance various key areas of the frontend division such as design systems, product analytics, data management, developer experience, core platform, mobile app, and chrome extension. - Generate innovative ideas, create software prototypes, and minimum viable products that drive or introduce new business capabilities. - Evaluate, analyze, and lead the adoption of emerging technologies and practices to establish new standards that enhance software delivery and optimize value. Qualifications Required: - Should possess a B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a Tier 1 institution. - Minimum 8 years of experience in modern frontend development. - At least 3 years of experience specifically in React or React Native. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals. - Proficiency in front-end build systems and tools such as Webpack, Vite, Yarn, and Lerna. - Experience in building complex and high-performing web applications. - Expertise in measuring and optimizing performance across different platforms. - Experience in creating and executing test cases, including unit testing, snapshot testing, and integration tests. - Familiarity with enhancing CI/CD pipelines, particularly in a monorepo setup. - Reasonable understanding of backend systems and a keen eye for product design would be advantageous.,
