Job Description

Role & Responsibilities (Staff-Level)

  • Perform monthly

    U.S. bookkeeping

    in QuickBooks Desktop/Online
  • Complete

    bank and credit card reconciliations

    accurately and on schedule
  • Prepare draft

    P&L, Balance Sheet, and GL

    for senior accountant review
  • Assist with cleanup work, adjusting entries, and month-end schedules
  • Support

    U.S. payroll or sales tax inputs

    when required (trainable)
  • Maintain organized

    month-end checklists and workpapers

  • Collaborate with senior accountants and address review points
  • Track daily tasks and communicate clearly through Teams/Planner

  • On-site role

    from our Pune office following firm SOPs

Preferred Candidate Profile

Must-Haves:

  • Currently residing in Pune

  • Minimum 1 year of U.S. bookkeeping experience

  • Strong hands-on skills in

    QuickBooks Desktop/Online

    (Xero acceptable)
  • Able to complete reconciliations and prepare draft financial statements
  • Good English communication skills
  • Willing to work

    on-site

    and follow structured workflows

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience supporting

    U.S. payroll or sales tax

  • Certifications:

    QBO ProAdvisor, Excel, NIIT/ICAI ATC

  • Shift flexibility:

    • U.S. shift (1:30 PM - 10:30 PM IST)

    • Other daytime shifts based on client needs
