SST Teacher

A Social Studies Teacher educates students on subjects like history, geography, civics, and economics, fostering critical thinking and a deeper understanding of societal structures and global perspectives. They design and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and create a positive learning environment. Their role also includes planning field trips, mentoring students, and participating in school-wide initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards, covering topics such as history, geography, civics, economics, and current events.
• Lesson Planning: Create comprehensive lesson plans, incorporating various teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assessment & Evaluation: Regularly assess student learning through various methods, providing constructive feedback and tracking progress.
• Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing student behavior and fostering a sense of community.
• Student Support: Provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them develop critical thinking skills and reach their full potential.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to develop curriculum, improve teaching practices, and support school-wide initiatives.
• Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in social studies education.
• Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
• Extracurricular Activities: Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, such as field trips and school events, related to social studies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
