L2/L3 Network Engineer India (Pune and Hyd) (24x7 support-Shi) with Work from oce.
Primary Skills: Networking concepts with NAC deployment experience with focus on Cisco switches. Wireless Experience: L2: 5 to 7 years and L3: 7 to 10 years Required Skills: Strong experience in Roung and Switching technologies. Strong troubleshoong skills on Networking technology Experience in Managing large enterprise WAN, LAN and WLAN networks. Hands-on experience with NAC deployment. Exper¢se in mul¢-vendor L2/L3 switches and routers with experience in Cisco switches & routers a must. Prociency in Cisco IOS/IOS-XE/NX-OS CLI Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst & Nexus switches. Se¢ng up IP rou¢ng, sub-interfaces and VLAN interfaces (SVI) on routers and L3 switches. Implement ACLs, QoS, PBR (policy-based rou¢ng) etc. Familiarity with stacking technologies and Virtual switching systems (VSS) Cisco DNAC, Solarwinds or Nagios for network monitoring. Understanding SDN concepts and Cisco ACI Analyzing Cisco Show and debug commands Knowledge of Ne¢low protocol and related tools. ¢ In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN support for data networks at Access, Aggrega¢on, and Core network including redundancy protocols such as HSRP, VRRP etc. In-depth knowledge of WLAN technologies Wireless controller & access points. Thorough understanding of modern service provider TCP/IP data networks including MPLS, OSPF, BGP4, STP, RSTP, VTP, VLAN. Familiarity with MPLS & WAN communica¢on technology like Internet VPN, SSL VPN. Good knowledge and hands-on experience with rou¢ng and switching. Router, Switch, and IP congura¢on experience. Knowledge of Load Balancer, WAN Op¢mizer and security devices is an addi¢onal advantage. Familiarity with ITIL Framework concepts such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Flexibility for long working hours and readiness to work in 24x7 rota¢onal shi¢s and weekends. Excellent interpersonal skills and eec¢ve communica¢on at all levels. Ability to work alone as an individual contributor and as a par¢cipant in a team environment. Preferred Certifications: CCNA, CCDA, CCNP and CCIE Du¢es and Responsibili¢es: Maintaining computer networks including switches, routers, WAPs, WLCs and other physical hardware. Installing and conguring network equipment. Crea¢ng rewalls and upda¢ng virus protec¢on so¢ware and data security systems. Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance. Troubleshoo¢ng, resolving, and communica¢ng networking issues. Implemen¢ng disaster recovery procedures. Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best-prac¢ce. Trouble ¢cket updates and administra¢on throughout the life of the ¢cket Customer update through issue resolu¢on for Escalated Issues Make data driven decisions Excellent analy¢cal skills for troubleshoo¢ng. Excellent in doing a RCA for customer network problems.
