Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Merchant based in Ludhiana. The Senior Merchant will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, managing relationships with suppliers, and negotiating contracts. The role includes coordinating with the design and production teams, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining high-quality standards. The Senior Merchant will also analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform purchasing strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation
• Strong coordination and communication skills to work with design and production teams
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, or related field
• Previous experience in the textile or apparel industry is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
