The Group Manager - Roof Infrastructure & Platforms (IIDRI) will drive continuous improvement of all products and services within the Domain, including the deployment and delivery of the most efficient IT platforms, services and solutions.
They will be accountable for all aspects of the Domain including: financial, technical performance, technical advancement, continuity , obsolescence and more. They will ensure end-to-end accountability of the domain across all divisions and programs for India & South Asia.
They will maintain a backlog of work with clear priorities agreed with the respective business stakeholders and participate actively in the governance body to steer relevant investments in full alignment with business priorities. They will develop their teams skills and career, aimed at peoples adaptability/employability and anticipate future needs for the company.
You will be responsible for the following main topics -

Defining and spearheading the Infrastructure Strategy for Airbus India & South Asia that aligns with the Digital strategy

The technical designing and financial planning of sustainable & secure Infrastructure for Airbus India & South Asia

Defining Infrastructures roadmaps in collaboration with all Airbus divisions, ensuring the continuous improvement and evolution of products & services

Ensuring the availability, stability and performance of all Infrastructure & Platform s solutions

Managing the workload and delivery of the Infrastructure & Platforms team with regards to infrastructure, platform and project services.

Coaching, mentoring & developing team members to support career progression

Provide strong technical guidance to team members and stakeholders on subjects including:

Hosting & Platforms

Cloud & Connectivity

Virtualisation

Data Centre Set Up & Management

Architecture (Infrastructure & Cloud)

Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Planning

Ensure all infrastructure is compliant with Airbus standards, Cyber Security standards & relevant customer contracts, legislations or standards.

Ensure the Infrastructure & Platforms team adhere to quality management including documenting processes & methods with regular reviews & reporting.

Act on behalf of Airbus India & South Asia in the Infrastructure Community of Practice (CoP) with other Airbus roofs.

Ensure infrastructure risks are identified and eliminated in compliance with Airbus frameworks & standards.

Ensure the Infrastructure & Platforms Annual Operating Plan (AOP) is aligned and managed in accordance with Airbus standards & stakeholder forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience

At least 12+ years of experience as an IT Manager and managing teams in a complex, multinational environment

Designing, planning & implementing complete infrastructure set ups for large, global organisations

Strong working knowledge on following:

ITIL process and Asset Management

Microsoft Active Directory

Desktop Operating System: Windows 7, 10 & 11, RHEL Linux

Shared File System (SFS): Data Storage Management

Enterprise Cisco Networking: LAN, WAN, Cisco call manager, DNS and Wi-Fi Technologies

Knowledge on High Performance Computing (HPC)

DR and BCP principle, implementation, operation
